Pure Pitney and Orbison Tour hits Costa Blanca in May! 

This tour, the first ever by International Tribute artist Tony Lee in the Costa Blanca is already attracting great interest with some participating venues 30% sold on ticket allocation!  Jukebox Promotions Peter says “This is the first time we have worked with Tony and we are very excited about bringing his fabulous tributes to the region”. Gene Pitney was a unique talent. A songwriter as well as a performer, he gave his all to fans the World over. He was a rare talent who sadly is no longer with us but we have his memory and music to remember him by. Tony has featured Genes music in his shows since the early 70s. In 2003, by public demand, he dedicated a complete show to Gene’s memory and is now simply “the sound of Gene Pitney today”! Tony’s remarkable voice has also adapted to allow him to create a fabulous tribute to the one and only Roy Orbison and, he will be bringing this exciting part of his show here to the Costa’s in May 2012. Tony has performed Internationally alongside Bobby Vee, Bobby Rydell, The Chiffons, Gary Pucket and many more great artists of the rock & Roll era and is endorsed by the Pitney family. He has appeared at Gene Pitney conventions in the USA and is widely considered to be one of the best tributes to this great star.

Pure Pitney & Orbison will be supported by the fabulous 60s voice of Peter Day with his wife Fiona McLean will be compering this vibrant, nostalgic tour. Tour dates & venues are (start at 8-30pm – seating at 8-00pm):

Well, it’s now March and we have the second tour of 2012 about to start when we return to Spain on 15th March.  The first of the 8 show tour will be on 19th March.

This month we have the fabulous Jackie Whyte with us as she portrays the amazing voice and style of Karen Carpenter to perfection.  Jackie will also join with Fiona to make up The Abba Girls.  They will belt out the groups fabulous hits and also get the crowd going with a great sing-a-long too.

The first UK tour of 2012 is underway.  We have 25 bookings in 11 working days here so as always, it’s tiring but, we are enjoying our time in the UK and it was great to be with our Daughter Lisa for her birthday on 28th February.  We kept it as a surprise and so she had no idea we would be in the UK for her birthday!!

King & Country show kicks off 2012 tours well!

Sadly, we did have to cancel two shows on this tour due to low numbers but, the other shows were well attended for the time of year and everyone loved them

This show has already sold out on a tour in Spain in 2011. Now, Jukebox Promotions bring it to Bedford as a fund raising event for three local Care Homes “activities budgets”.

The show stars Darren Price as “60s” Elvis and he also portray his fantastic Shakin Stevens tribute. Jukebox Legends very own Elvis 2000 portrays the “70s” Elvis and the show is supported by Fiona McLean (Jukebox Legends) who will perform Brenda Lee and Connie Francis hits.

This fabulous show is fantastic value for money – Please come along and support the local care homes whose activities budgets have been ripped to shreds!  We all know people in care homes and can relate to how important it is that they are kept active with music, games, competitions and outings.
