September:

Cliff & Elvis Spectacular – Once again we will be working with the fabulous UK Cliff Richard tribute Cliff-asif. Will (Cliff-asif) has become a great friend as well as a fantastic act to work with. Last year his tour with us in the Costa Blanca was a sell out and we are confident that this year, the eight show tour will be the same. Looking forward to this very much.

October:

Dusty & Tina tour – Spectacular Dusty Springfield and Tina Turner tribute tour with the fabulous Patti Ross.  Again. last year Patti was a huge hit with a Dusty and Elke Brookes tour with us.  We are really excited about working with Patti again for the five show tour in October.

November:

This really is a very exciting tour as it will star one of UK’s great of all time!!  International recording and TV star - LENA MARTELL! Lena will be with us for five shows. The “One Day at a Time” tour!  Lena was and still is an amazing artist who had her own weekly TV show on BBC in the 70s. The show was a huge hit for TEN years on Saturday nights and I can certainly remember sitting glued to the telly to listen to Lena’s brilliant performances!!

We are very proud and honoured to have Lena in the Costa Blanca with us and edvise everyone interested in booking tickets to do so asap and they will be limited at all five venues!!

Also in November:

One great show at Rocajuna in Punta Prima featuring the owner of this fabulous venue who was a huge success when we did the Karen Carpenter and Abba Girls tour back in March. Jacky Whyte is simply amazing and we have chosen to do one more Karen Carpenter and Abba girls (sing-a-long) show at her venue on Thursday 8th November.  It will be a fantastic show so make sure you get to see it if you are in the Costa Blanca at that time!!

We also have two UK tours during this period and over 20 bookings in Spain (exluding the tour events)!  The first is for two week from 29th Sept to 13th October. We have a high number of bookings but most are private events and so closed to public bookings.

We return to Spain on 14th Oct and remain there until 21st November when we go back to the UK again. This time, we will be there until the end of January 2013 and have over 70 gigs lined up during that time. Again, many are private events and also include sheltered housing groups and care homes during the week days. We love entertaining and helping the residents and are really looking forward to seeing everyone again real soon.

We do have a few possible dates for Clubs, hotels and Corporate events in January 2013 and one possible option for December 2012. Please call or email if interested!

Unique, Spectacular tribute to the King for this special anniversary year

August 16th 1977 and the King has gone!

The World of music has lost the best singer ever and will never be the same again!

We pay tribute to Elvis with a Spectacular show featuring two of the bestElvis tribute artists in the World supported by a fabulous female singer who will featurs some of the fabulous songs made famous by some of the great girl performers of the                50s and 60s.

Elvis 2000 is without doubt one of the best Elvis tributes Internationally and is known as “the best Elvis Sound Around”! Recently nominated into the top three for Best Tribute in the Costa Blanca and then voted WINNER of this sector,

Peter Days portrayal of the King will truly amaze you as his voice and manner is so incredibly close to the King and unlike many Elvis tributes, he doesn’t pretend to be THE MAN and keeps away from kicking the legs and other weird things that many tributes seem to think Elvis actually did and that they have to do!!!

It’s about the music, the voice, the fun and the memory!

Peter Day (Elvis 2000) remembers back in the 60s when he went to see one of the top Elvis tributes at Ceasars Palace in Luton and Newmarket Cabaret Club.  His name was Rupert.  Peter remembered how much he enjoyed these shows and so has invited the Fabulous Rupert to appear with him on this mini tribute tour.

Rupert left school at 14 in 1965 and went on tour in scandanavia singing rock n roll which lasted about 3 months. On his return to the UK, he was  playing the pubs and working mens clubs where he was getting many requests for Elvis songs. At the same time Elvis did his 68 comeback show and began live shows again so there was a lot of work at pubs and clubs. In 1971 he appeared at the Crystal Palace Bowl festival with Pink Floyd, Rod Stewart, The Faces and many others. He was pretending to be Elvis making his singing debut in the UK ( as a joke) but he didn’t tell the 80,0000 strong audience who thought he was Elvis – and so did the press!!!  He kept it a secret for 3 days and got massive press and TV coverage then, told everybody it was not really The King!!!!

From that point he was getting work at all the premier venues in the UK and was  asked to record a album for K tel records. A tribute to Elvis and he was also booked as a session singer with the Mike Sam singers. The album sold well through out Europe and Scandanavia which opened doors. He did many tours doing big festivals with 100,000 plus audiences with such names as Billy Haley, Fats Domino , Chuck Berry , Gene Vincent ,and many more. In the UK he did many shows with Shaking Stevens, Matchbox, Marty Wilde, Gerry & Pacemakers and just about everybody from the sixties including Mud and Sweet from the seventies.

In 1977 Elvis died and there was even more work. His Elvis tribute was in HUGE damand and has been ever since! He got a recording contract with Polydor records and recorded a album and a single called “So close to heaven” which got into the top ten in Denmark. In 2001 he went to Las Vegas for a holiday and got a job singing but had no green card so was told to stop! He went back again in 2006 and sang at the Excalibur Hotel and then moved down to Memphis and sang at the rock n roll cafe opposite  Gracelands for 3 nights!

Well thats rock n roll!  We have paid our dues and have nothing to prove – as the song says “Rock n Roll, I gave you the best days of my live”!

This tour will get the feet tapping and we “dare” you to sit still!!!

Elvis 2000 - Top Tribute in Costa Blanca 2012

This tour, the first ever by International Tribute artist Tony Lee in the Costa Blanca is already attracting great interest with some participating venues 30% sold on ticket allocation!  Jukebox Promotions Peter says “This is the first time we have worked with Tony and we are very excited about bringing his fabulous tributes to the region”. Gene Pitney was a unique talent. A songwriter as well as a performer, he gave his all to fans the World over. He was a rare talent who sadly is no longer with us but we have his memory and music to remember him by. Tony has featured Genes music in his shows since the early 70s. In 2003, by public demand, he dedicated a complete show to Gene’s memory and is now simply “the sound of Gene Pitney today”! Tony’s remarkable voice has also adapted to allow him to create a fabulous tribute to the one and only Roy Orbison and, he will be bringing this exciting part of his show here to the Costa’s in May 2012. Tony has performed Internationally alongside Bobby Vee, Bobby Rydell, The Chiffons, Gary Pucket and many more great artists of the rock & Roll era and is endorsed by the Pitney family. He has appeared at Gene Pitney conventions in the USA and is widely considered to be one of the best tributes to this great star.
