There are now three dates for Ricky Valance 50th anniversary in music shows at the end of 2010.  They are:

Wednesday 10th November – The Lounge Bar, Aguas Nuevas, Torrevieja. Tickets 6 Euros availabel at The Lounge Bar or by calling them on 966922134 – This one will be numbered seating so we strongly advice booking early to get the best seats.

A great new venue that is building a reputation for quality, value for money events is in Toretta 11 and we will be there on Friday 4th June.  For only 10 Euros per person you can have a great meal and FREE cabaret dance show with us! Call 644133956 or 644113487 to book.  This venue is run by Martine and Danny who are great hosts and this will be a really good music and fun event so come along and enjoy yourselves.

If you want to come along and drink at the bar on the evening that’s fine – just be there and bring your friends!!

Yes, we now have the function room at Los Arcos on Monday nights starting on May 24th.  We have changed the time to an 8-30pm start (arrive 8-15 is good).

PLEASE come along and bring everone you know!  When the club starts to really buzz it will be great but it does need help and support to get it off the ground.  We hope you will support us as we try this venture that no other acts seem to want to do.  Namely to give people who LOVE 60s to 70s music and dancing the opportunity to do so every week both in the summer and winter.  Remember, in the winter period most venues don’t want to pay for entertainment and there are few places to go.  We want to change this but need your support all through the year in order to make it work.

Well, the news is that we are posting the NEWS before the month end!!  Yes, its only a couple of days away from our second UK tour of 2010 and we are thankful that the volcano in Iceland seems to have calmed down which will allow us to fly!!  All being well, we will leave on 29th April and return on 12th May.  Then, it will be straight into a very hectic May period (see the Live dates guide for details).

April was an interesting month and in some places we saw an increase in numbers of people.  Others unfortunately have not seen this and we are hoping for everyone that the summer season brngs many people over from the UK.

April saw us completeing the first three shows with Ricky Valance to celebrate his 50th anniversary in music year.  They were all sell out shows and were simply great.  Ricky’s was a pleasure to work with and we look forward to the May 21st show with him at Los Arcos and those that are being arranged for October / November (two already in the diary -  see the live dates listing for details).

We also had a great night at The Captains table when we played there for the first time this year.  There were over 80 people there and it was a fantastic atmosphere.  We also had a private 70th birthday in Benimar for our great friend Barry.  It was a fantastic night and we loved doing the entertainment for Barry.   A further 70th birthday party in Valle del Sol at the Hotel Casablanca for the lovely Judy completed the month for us and we loved every gig including our club nights.

Thanks to all that came to see us in April.  We look forward to seeing you again in May when we return from the UK.  Please remember to book tickets for the Ricky Valance show at Los Arcos on Friday 21st May asap as they are selling fast now.

Jukebox Legend Club nights will re-start on MONDAY 24th May at 8-15 for 8-30pm start at Los Arcos function room. Please note the change to Mondays, change of time etc and come along with all your friends to support the club events.  To keep it going, we need YOU.

Wow – We have now completed three of the four Ricky Valance 50th anniversary in music shows and they were just fantastic.  As reported earlier, Bigastro was a sell out followed by Casa Ventura on Saturday 10th April (Ricky’s birthday) and then at The Lounge Bar on Wednesday 14th (both were sell outs too)!

The feedback we have had from people at all three shows has been incredible and we have now decided to put three more show on with Ricky at the end of the year (between mid Oct and mid November).  One has already been arranged for Wednesday 27th October at The Club in Quesada (see details in the live dates guide).
