We have just completed the second show in the tour and both were very well received.  On Friday at Casa Ventura we had 100 people in a very hot room as there was no air con!!  Everyone stayed and everyone loved the show.  Featuring Darren Price and his 60s Elvis tribute (in 68 Comeback special black leathers), the show had people singing along and dancing in the aisles all evening.  Both Darren and Elvis 2000 received a great reception and Fiona McLean was outstanding with her portrayal of the songs made popular by Connie Francis, Brenda Lee and Patsy Cline.

The night was hot and sticky (especially in leathers and an Elvis Vegas suit) but everyone went away happy and excited.

Last night we took the show to Los Arcos ( a much bigger venue) and again we had over 100 people there.  With much more space at hand and some air con, the evening was slightly more comfortable but most importantly, a big success!

We would like to thank Casa Ventura and Los Arcos for their help and support in making the shows possible.

Now, we await the final show of the tour on Wednesday at Rocajuna in Punta Prima.  Tickets for this show have sold out and so we are very excited about this event and appearing at Rocajuna for the first time.  Those with tickets are advised to arrive early for seating and the show will start at 8-30pm.

Regrettably, we have had to withdraw our entertainment from Bar Carmen in El Chaparral on Thursdays.

We have replaced this venue with Bonanza Bar (around the back of Bar Carmen) and will be appearing there on Wednesdays at 9-00pm.  Please check on the “live dates” page of the website to confirm which Wednesdays we are appearing as we are not able to do them all in the early stages due to previous bookings in the diary.

We are sad to be leaving Bar Carmen after working with Harry and Wendy there for over two years.  We wish Antonio and Carmen success in the future but for now, we move on and are very excited about our new agreement with Patrick and Kris at Bonanza Bar.  They wanted us two years ago and we are very pleased that they still feel that way now.

We invite all of the El Chaparral locals that came to see us on Thursday to come to Bonanza Bar on Wednesdays startin on 30th June.

Sadly, we have had to suspend the Monday club nights at least until the end of the summer period.  Last night there were only five visitors to the club which was extremely disappointing especially as so many people said they would come along once we were in the large function room at Los Arcos.

Over the past two weeks so many people have said that they would be at the first Monday event to help “kick-start” the club nights but, they failed to show! We cannot continue the club night under such circumstances and so have reluctantly made the decision to suspend it at least through the summer.  We can only hope that we will get the opportunity to be at Los Arcos and in the main function room at another time!  Without doubt, it’s one of the best venues for such a club and as we said, very sad that it wasn’t supported.

Three sensational “Double Elvis” shows have now been booked for dates in July.  We are proud and privileged to have one of the UK’s top “Elvis – the film years” tributes artists Darren Price over here on a working holiday and have tied down three dates for unique shows.  It’s the first tome there have been two era Elvis tributes together on stage in the Costas for many years (if ever) so book early to avoid missing these amazing events.  You will see details on the “Live Dates” page of this site but here are the venues etc.

Yes, we now have the function room at Los Arcos on Monday nights starting on May 24th.  We have changed the time to an 8-30pm start (arrive 8-15 is good).

PLEASE come along and bring everone you know!  When the club starts to really buzz it will be great but it does need help and support to get it off the ground.  We hope you will support us as we try this venture that no other acts seem to want to do.  Namely to give people who LOVE 60s to 70s music and dancing the opportunity to do so every week both in the summer and winter.  Remember, in the winter period most venues don’t want to pay for entertainment and there are few places to go.  We want to change this but need your support all through the year in order to make it work.
