End of September 2009 – News
Hi everyone,
Well, it’s the end of September and the most exciting and important thing that we have to report is the change of name! After so many years known as Musical Tributes, we have changed the act name to Jukebox Legends. It feels a little strange but, we believe it will help us establish the type of entertainment we do and give a wider, more varied option of songs. Fiona and I are working on many new ideas and are very excited about what is happening. Close behind is the new website – Yes, you are on it now!!! It’s a bit “buzzy” compared to the last one and we are getting some really good feedback from our venues and our fans alike.
The summer in Spain has been kind to us and even though times are very tough for most of the venues, we have been very successful with bookings. Its been great fun and now, we are looking forward to two trips to the UK before Christmas and then a return to Spain on December 18th. We will then go straight into a busy spell in Spain with booking from the first day back, over Christmas and on New Years Eve.
Our first trip to the UK is on 8th October and we will be there for ten days taking in fourteen gigs whilst there (and getting to see the family of course)! The we return to Spain for four weeks before going back to the Uk on November 18th for thirty days. During that period we currently have forty seven bookings in place (phew)!!!!! Anyway, it will be fun and we are looking forward to seeing our friends at the Clubs, Corporate parties, Private events, Sheltered groups and homes again. Take a look at our new Products page – Soon, our full range of CDs will be available including Peter Days Internationally released “Edge of Reality” album. We also have a great deal coming up where you can buy fifty Jukebox Legends and Elvis 2000 recordings for 35euros on a 16gb series 3, MP3 player. This price means that you get the MP3 Player FREE on the deal!! Now that’s a really great deal because these players normally retail close to £90 without the added tracks.
Check out our fantastic Decorative Bra straps range too. Many of you girls have seen Fiona wearing them at our shows and now, you can buy them online from our site (see Products). We also have a fabulous range of TOP Quality perfumes and toiletries (not to be mistaken for cheap copies) at about one fifth of the price you would pay in shops!! Take a look girls because they truly are incredible to wear and to give as gifts (again on the Products page).
