Ricky Valance 50th Anniversary tour
We are proud to be supporting Ricky on this mini tour of the Costa Blanca. Very few of the original stars of the 60s get to remain at the top of the music industry for 50 years. In 1960, Ricky had one of the biggest hits the UK has ever see when he released Tell Laura I Love Her. He followed this with other top hit recordings such as Movin’ Away, Try to forget her, Fisher Boy, Bobby, Why cant we, Jimmys Girl and Don’t Play No 9 all of which hit the charts.
Today, he still records and completes a new double album this month. He has had many No 1 hits in other Countries around the world and in 2002 reached N0 30 in the US Air Play charts in Nashville with the fabulous song “Mother Loves Another Man”.
His TV appearances include American “Nashville Now” (in front of 70 million viewers), “Country-Side” in San Antonio, The UKs “Pebble Mill” and HTVs chat show “Elinore” and in Germany, “Back to the 60s” and “Legends of the 60s”. In 1990 Ricky received the Top Male Vocalist award and Top Solo Artist award from Memories Music Club. Ricky was also the first Welsh singer to take the No 1 spot in the UK charts.
Ricky is currently waiting for the final agreement on a “three in a row” TV feature in the UK for later this year and a major Magazine has indicated that they will be writing a special tribute feature.
Our very special tour in the Costa Blanca will illustrate that Ricky still has that very special voice that has taken him to the top of British music and kept him there Internationally. We will be featuring the show in four / five of the region of Torrevieja’s top venues. Tickets will be just 6 Euros. Please check the Live dates guide for dates and times. We strongly advise that tickets are purchased in advance as they will be limited at each venue. Tickets are available from each of the venues or by calling us at 695135134 or emailing jukeboxlegends@hotmail.com.
Ricky Valance and Jukebox Legends together for a full three hour show! Don’t miss these gigs – They will be a great memory to the fabulous sounds of the 60s.
We also hope to take this tour to the UK and possibly Ireland later in the year.
